October Notes 2018
Well, there’s no getting around it. Autumn is here in all its glory. And cold. Yikes.
September brought delightful times such as leading music for the “pajama party” at Celebrating Women in gorgeous Boulder, MT (photo above), playing for the first time at Santa Fe Reds (what nice folks AND great margaritas), and my very first singing telegram for a dear woman’s 84th birthday. What fun!
Here’s what’s coming up in October: Friday, Oct 12: I’ll be back at Santa Fe Red’s for Homecoming. 1235 North 7th. 6 to 9 pm. Joining me will be Silas Rea on violin. No cover. Tips appreciated. Once again, you might want to make reservations ahead of time if you want to sit near the music. www.santafereds.com
Friday, Oct 19: Enjoy a beverage in the Baxter lobby for an evening at Ted’s Montana Grill, 105 West Main, Bozeman. 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Joining me will be Cliff DeManty on keyboard and Eddie T on bass. No cover. Tips appreciated. www.tedsmontanagrill.com
Wednesday, Oct 31, Halloween!: Solo performance at the Bozeman Taproom, 101 North Rouse, 7 to 9 pm. No cover, tips appreciated. They don’t call it the “Taproom” for nothing; I’ve never seen so many beers on tap. Plus hard cider for GF folks like me. www.bozemantaproom.com
I’ll also be doing my “Blues by Heart” show on KGLT Oct 13 and 27, 3 to 6 pm. www.kglt.net
Thanks so much for the support, and enjoy the fall!
