December Notes 2018

December Notes

The hills are turning white and the days are getting shorter. Personally, I’m looking forward to Solstice when the days will start growing longer. Till then (and beyond), music is my balm. Here are some dates for upcoming musical fun:

Just a November reminder, I’ll be at Bozeman Hot Springs with Cliff DeManty and Eddie Tsuru on Thursday, November 29th, and at Ted’s Montana Grill with Cliff DeManty on Friday, November 30th.

Tuesday, December 4: Music and Margaritas at Santa Fe Reds, 1235 N 7th Ave, Bozeman. Young Silas Rea will be joining me on fiddle. 6 to 8 pm. No cover, tips appreciated. Great Mexican food. Fantastic margaritas--try the Cadillac! www.santafereds.com

Wednesday, December 12: Bridger Brewing, 5:30 to 8:30 pm. 1609 S 11th Ave, Bozeman. With Cliff DeManty on keyboard and Eddie Tsuru on bass. No cover, tips appreciated. Great gluten free beers, amazing pizzas, super salads. www.bridgerbrewing.com

Friday, December 14: Music and Margaritas at Santa Fe Reds, 1235 N 7th Ave, Bozeman. With Chuck Swenson on vocals and banjo and who knows what else. 6 to 9 pm. Just can’t get enough of this place. Super folks. And did say they have great margaritas? Check it out! www.santafereds.com

Wednesday, December 26: Bozeman Taproom and Fill Station, 101 N Rouse Ave. Solo performance. 7 to 9 pm. No cover. Tips appreciated. Come recover from Christmas with a great brew and some fine tunes. Good food, too! www.bozemantaproom.com

Also, be sure to listen to my “Blues By Heart” show on KGLT public radio, Saturdays from 3 to 6 pmDecember 1st, 15th, and 29th. 91.9 fm in Bozeman. Or stream at www.kglt.net
